Shawl is the symbol of Kashmiri Heritage. Kashmiri shawls are known for their extravagant designs, texture and fine finish. Kani shawls use needles made from Cane or Wood. The distinguishable Mughal patterns, usually of flowers and leaves are woven into the fibre like carpet by thread by thread on the coded pattern called the Talim.
